AnonAddy is an open-source email forwarding service to protect your email address. If you would like to remain anonymous, sign-up to AnonAddy and choose a username that is not linked to your real name or identity and that you haven’t used anywhere else.

We all like using cloud services for more storage, for backups or synchronisation. But we all know, there is no cloud, it’s just someone else’s computer. Cryptomator encrypts your data so that you can synchronize it with a cloud service without the cloud provider being able to read it.

If you encrypted your datas, you’re ready to move them to cloud. Koofr offers cloud storage that you can access over the web, with the Koofr apps, or via protocols like WebDAV or rclone β€” perfectly suitable for syncing or backup. Koofr works great with Cryptomator, which encrypts your data before uploading.

I love secured and privacy based e-mail providers. Lavabit offers email accounts with best possible security. But their services are completely paid. If you want a free alternative, I prefer RiseUp. It’s all free and very secured e-mail service provider. Also they have a free VPN service. RiseUp e-mail service is free but invitation code needing. (You can ask to me: kaangoktas@riseup.net) And for extra e-mail protection: SimpleLogin is an open-source email forwarding service to protect your email address.

If you are a Mac user, probably you don’t care about your internet security. But it’s a HUGE mistake. Little Snitch is a personal firewall for macOS which gives you full control over outgoing network connections. Define which applications can connect to what servers, and get warned if they try to do something else.

Last one thing: Skiff is a privacy-first service provider. It offers you: Private, end-to-end encrypted email box, collaborative notes and tables (Skiff Pages), a Drive to uploading, sharing, and sending end-to-end encrypted files and Private Calendar for end-to-end encrypted schedules and events. All of them with 10 GB of free storage and Skiff helps you transition from other online cloud storage providers to a fully private storage platform, where your data is owned by you. Skiff is available on iOS, Android, and Mac. Sign-up from here and say hello to me: kaangoktas@skiff.com
