HOW TO DISAPPEAR ONLINE?
On internet, we drop our digital fingertips everywhere. And data brokers, advertisers, governments or data syndicates collects, sells and use them. So, how we can drop less fingertips (sadly, no zero) and become a cyber ghost?
First rule: Be anonym! Don’t use your real name or id nowhere. And use different nick (user) names on every platform.
Second rule: Use a paid VPN! In this blog post, I mentioned which VPN providers are safety.
Third rule: Use a safety web browser on your computers and smart phones. I prefer DuckDuckGo. If not, you can use Opera or Firefox with extra privacy extentions. If you must use (why?) Chrome (or a Chromium based browser like Brave or UnGoogled Chromium etc.) or Safari (I don’t mention IE or Edge), use the privacy extentions like DuckDuckGo or Hush. If connection speed doesn’t matters, use a Tor (or Tor based) Browser with Tor network.
Other rules: Use a ad-blocker extention or in-built ad-blocks web browser. Use a tracking blocker extention or in-built web browser too. Don’t use your real e-mail address or don’t use an e-mail address with your real name or any specific information about you. Use a secure and privacy based e-mail provider like Proton Mail or Tutanota with a nickname. Mask your e-mail address with an e-mail protection service. For example: your e-mail is kaangoktas@something.com, an e-mail masking service hide it and senders see kaangoktas@duck.com, the mails forwards your real address automaticly. For subscription somewhere or sig-up any website, use a single-use temporary e-mail address. Don’t use your credit card for online purchases or shopping, use pre-paid anonymously cards. Or pay with crypto. For online shoppings, don’t use your real post address, use a postbox. On messaging apps like WhatsApp or Signal, don’t use your real telephone number, use a pre-paid number or fake number. Using social media like Facebook or Twitter, ofcourse use a fake name and picture, don’t share your real pictures or any picture which you took your smartphone. Because there is your GPS location and device information in metadatas. Turn off your smartpohone’s location services. For crypto currencies, don’t use exchanges like Binance, use anonymously hardware wallets or cold-wallets. For change cryptos with fiat cash, don’t use exchange and banks too, use P2P or Bitcoin ATMs.
And final rule: Don’t trust anyone from meet only on internet and give anyone one of your real information. Stay anonym everytime and be a troll if necessary.
